Mini-Noses: What Are They?

Pokedex data confirms Mini-Noses as separate creatures
from the Probopass to which they are attached.  If they
were to break free, they would eventually be Nosepass.

Are they baby pokemon?  Are they merely an immature
Nosepass, not quite grown into itself?  To which category
does it belong?  Could this be yet another case not
unlike that of baby Kangaskan?  The child in the pouch
has not yet been classified as a different evolutionary
step.

Yet Nosepass is physically quite different from a Mini-
Nose.  The Mini-Nose does not yet possess appendages.
Arguably, without legs, the Mini-Nose relies upon the
electro-magnetic lift of it's guardian Probopass.  So
when they break free of the guardian, do they become
inert until some rudimentary legs form?  Might they still
retain some gravity-defying power?

Research on Mini-Noses is ongoing, but as of this report,
still fruitless.  The author suggests a temporary species
designation as 'Nosling' until a decision is reached.
